Founded in 2018, Seven Engines is owned and operated by Robin Stamey, a Philadelphia native specializing in lighting design and stage management for theatrical productions large and small.

ABOUT ROBIN STAMEY

Robin Stamey is a lighting designer, production manager, and producer based in Philadelphia.

Lighting designs include Interact Theatre Company (Barrymore nomination for Best Overall Production: How to Use a Knife), Theatre Exile, Tribe of Fools (Barrymore nomination for Outstanding Lighting Design: Fishtown), Curio Theatre Company, Philadelphia Artists’ Collective, Pig Iron Theatre Company, Lantern Theater Company, Hedgerow Theatre, Almanac, and the Berserker Residents as well as Bryn Mawr College, Swarthmore College, Haverford College, and University of the Arts.

Production management credits include Shakespeare in Clark Park, Pig Iron Theatre Company, Lantern Theater Company, Tiny Dynamite, Nichole Canuso Dance Company, 11th Hour Theatre Company (Barrymore award for Best Overall Production of a Musical: Lizzie), Almanac, Invisible River, Tribe of Fools, and Berserkers.

Robin is currently the Programming & Operations Manager of the Philadelphia Design Center, serves as a member of the Advisory Board for Theatrical Trainer and is a company member of Curio. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater from Arcadia University.
